More changes to the WSK calendar

After months of quiet and silence, the restart of the 2020 season is about to kick off again. Things have been particularly difficult in Italy, the home of the WSK series.

WSK Promotions have announced several different calendars in an attempt to get the season restarted, and has now come out with another one.

The previous revision had an extremely tight turn around between the final round of the Super Masters series and the first 2 rounds of the Euro series, with just a day between the end of one event and the start of the next.

The super masters series will finish off at Adria, with a double header meeting between June 29th and July 5th. The event will have all classes present (Mini 60, OKJ, OK and KZ2) and will feature a bit of a wacky format. Monday is dedicated to free practice before Tuesday and Wednesday dedicated to qualifying and heats, those will form part of round 1.

Thursday and Friday will then have another set of qualifying and heats which will from part of round 2. Saturday will then see the pre-final and Finals for round 1 with the same happening on Sunday for Round 2.

The Euro Series will kick off the following week, with a single round at Sarno for all classes. The season finale will be a double header at Lonato in September. The WSK Open cup moves back a week in November, with the Final Cup’s date remaining the same.
