Iame Euro Series Round 2: Castelletto

The second round of the Iame Euro Series decended on Castelletto in Italy with over 170 drivers taking to the track over the weekend. There was a large and strong British contingent present, so a great opportunity for some good results. The second round of the CIK FIA European Championship rolled into Genk, Belgium. There were some big names, and some new names in the field, which would make for an interesting weekend. Qualifying would be where the interest would start. A wet track would see the field shuffled around. OKJ: Amand wins, Ten Brinke leads Championship

The second round of the OKJ European Championship took place in Genk in the middle of May. After a shock win for Tuukha Taponen in France, everyone was ready for another unpredictable weekend. Iame British Karting Championship – Shenington

Round 2 for the Iame classes saw the series head to Shenington just a month after the opening round at PFi. This time, there were a few less drivers in some of the classes, but the quality was seriously on the rise. Kimber vs Keirle, the rematch Saturday was the battle of the K’s: Kimber, Keirle and King. The first round of the European KZ championship rolled into Wackersdorf, with the top professional drivers and manufactures doing battle for supremacy over qualifying, 3 heats and a final. After practice, Tony Kart’s Matteo Vigano sealed pole position ahead of Kart Republic’s Jorrit Pex in 2nd.
